Open to all children league age 4-15.

You must reside or go to school within the Fountain Valley Little League boundaries to be eligible to play at FVLL

Registration Notes

Tee Ball (ages 4-5)

Farm (ages 5-7, coach pitch)

Age 5 with prior experience may register for Farm

Minor C (ages 6-8, coach & player pitch)

1/2 season coach pitch and 1/2 season player pitch

Minor B - Little League Baseball (ages 8 - 9)

Minor A - Little League Baseball (ages 9 - 10 )

Major Division Little League Baseball (ages 10 - 12)

Minor C, Minor B, Minor A and Majors teams formulated by draft after evaluation

Juniors / Intermediate 50/70 (ages 13-15)

Formation of Juniors & Intermediate 50/70 teams are dependent on numbers and may require a tryout where players have to be cut.
Teams will be traveling.

Early Bird discount of $25 for registrations received by October 31th, 2024.
Late fee of $25 applied for registration after December 16th, 2024.

All credit card transactions will incur a non-refundable $3 processing fee.

A $50.00 Volunteer Reimbursement Deposit per player is included in the registration fee.
Fee is refundable upon completion of 5 hours approved volunteer activities. See League Info/FAQs for more details. If not refunded, deposit is tax deductible.

Registration fees are not refundable after January 11, 2025. All refunds (prior to January 11, 2025) could incur a $10 processing fee.

Tee Ball ages 4-5 ($200 / early bird $175 / late registration $225)

Farm(Coach Pitch) ages 6-7 ($250 / early bird $225 / late registration $275)

Spring season for Tee Ball, Farm and Minor C allow parents to request teammates/coaches (we try to grant all requests but not guaranteed). Minor B, Minor A, and Majors teams are determined by a draft; player may not end up in the division you prefer. We attempt to keep siblings together upon request but this is not guaranteed for draft aged players. All players interested in playing Minor B, Minor A, and Majors must participate in a pre-draft evaluation, and all players League Age 9 years and above must be evaluated. The drafts will occur after evaluations and all teams will be announced shortly thereafter. Practices will begin early February. The regular season starts the beginning of March and will end the beginning of June, with All Stars extending as late as July.

Minor C, Minor B, Minor A, & Majors (all players League Age 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12; players League Age 6 who wish to be evaluated for Minor C or above): January 11-12, 2025

Document Verification

Once registered online NEW and RETURNING players will be required to show the following documents at one of the document verification events (location and dates TBD). Please keep a look out in your emails and social media for dates and locations.

PLEASE PRINT OUT AND BRING MEDICAL RELEASE FORM TO ONE OF THE VERIFICATION DATES.

NEW AND RETURNING VOLUNTEERS COMPLETE A VOLUNTEER APPLICATION AND BACKGROUND CHECK ONLINE.

* ONLINE REGISTRATION COMPLETED AFTER DECEMBER 16th WILL INCLUDE A LATE FEE.

In addition to the medical release form, Verification consists of two parts: Proof of Age and Proof of Residency. All players must have a medical release form and be verified.

The only method to establish Proof of Age is an ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE (NO COPIES OR PASSPORTS)

Residency is most easily established by a school verification form

If you cannot obtain a school verification form (player not yet school aged, or attends school out of bounds but resides within bounds) we are required to review 3 Proofs of Residency, each on Original Documents (no online print outs, copies)

We DO NOT keep verification documents at the time of verification; we only confirm pertinent information. However, if your child is selected for an All Star team, these records will need to be provided again and turned into the district administrator. It is a good idea to keep these records in a safe place so that you have access to them once again at the end of the season.

RESIDENCY RULES FOR THE 2025 SEASON

RESIDENCY AND SCHOOL ATTENDANCE ELIGIBILITY - The following is required to establish residency and school attendance eligibility:

• A school issued report card or performance record will no longer be accepted to establish school attendance must have a school enrollment form filled out.

• Residence shall be established and supported by documents containing the full residence which includes parent(s) or guardian(s) name, street address, city, state and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1, 2024 (previous year) and February 1, 2025 (current year), from one or more documents from EACH of the three Groups outlined below:

Group I

1. Driver's License

2. School records

3. Vehicle records (i.e., registration, lease, etc.)

4. Employment records 5. Insurance documents

Group II

1. Welfare/child care records

2. Federal records (i.e., Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)

3. State records

4. Local (municipal) records

5. Support payment records

6. Homeowner or tenant records
